Turn Slack grocery requests into an Instacart cart

An OpenClaw agent gathered office grocery asks from Slack, got approval, and built an Instacart cart before checkout.

What they did
A startup ran an OpenClaw assistant named Gila on a local computer in its New York office. Teammates mentioned her in Slack with grocery requests, and a skill file told her to gather the items, make one list, and wait for sign-off from an approved person. After that, she entered the list as plain text into ChatGPT’s Instacart app, which assembled the cart, then she shared the cart link and recap back in Slack.
How it went
The workflow finished end to end and the groceries were ordered. The team said it behaved more dependably than they expected. They kept a human approval step before the final purchase.
Tips
This only works with ChatGPT apps that support checkout inside the chat, like Instacart. It also relies on a consumer product that OpenAI could change.
