Sort hotel options into a Google Sheet

Claude in Chrome can check Booking.com hotels for a business trip and copy the best matches into a spreadsheet.

What they did
They set up a /hotel-picker command in Claude in Chrome to begin with Booking.com. The shortcut narrowed the search to hotels, applied distance and 4-star-or-better filters, and then compared details from Booking.com with TripAdvisor reviews. Before starting, they prepared a Google Sheet with the column headings already in place.
How it went
The agent produced a value-ranked top 10 in about 10โ€“15 minutes. For each hotel, it filled in the sheet with the price, rating, how far it was from downtown, the listed amenities, and a booking link. The source did not report any accuracy test or success rate.
Tips
A Claude Pro account is required. To avoid login problems, run it in a separate Chrome profile and leave the active tab alone while it works; if anti-bot checks appear, tell Claude to enter text more slowly.

Use Booking.com to find hotels near [location] for [dates] with a maximum nightly price of [price cap]. Keep only hotels that match the distance and 4-star-or-higher filters, and cross-check Booking.com details with TripAdvisor reviews. Put one hotel per row in this Google Sheet: [sheet URL]. For each row, record the hotel name, nightly price, rating, distance from downtown, amenities, and booking link. Keep going until you have [number] options, then stop and ask me to approve before you do anything that books, reserves, submits, sends, or pays.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
