Have invoice PDFs gathered and sent to accounting
A browser extension collects vendor bills from logged-in sites and prepares them for the accountant each month.
- What they did
- The poster built Severino, a Chrome extension for recurring bills from vendors such as AWS, Vercel, GitHub, Google Cloud, Twilio, and Slack. It works inside the user’s browser while they are already signed in, visits each billing portal, downloads the newest invoice file, and forwards it to their accountant. For services it already knows, it reuses stored steps; for an unfamiliar site, an AI mode reads the visible page text, recommends a single click path, and then saves that sequence for later.
- How it went
- They say they use it themselves and that it now handles the monthly invoice handoff without them having to chase documents on the 3rd. It can still stumble on some MFA prompts, including phone-push checks, and Gmail invoice scraping had not been released yet.
- Tips
- Limit what the agent can access to billing-page text, not cookies, tokens, or screenshots. Be ready to take over when a site adds a difficult login step, especially multi-factor verification.

Each month, go through these vendors: [vendor list]. Using my current signed-in browser session, open each provider’s billing area, find the newest invoice, download it as a PDF, and save it as [Vendor-YYYY-MM]. If you run into a site you have not used before, examine the on-page text, suggest one click path, and remember that flow for future runs. Once all invoices are collected, draft one email to [accountant email] with the files attached and show it to me. Do not send anything until I approve it. If a login or verification step blocks you, stop and ask me to complete it manually before continuing.
