Draft long projects in chunks with Manus

They used Manus and Gemini Deep Research to assemble very long writing projects from smaller generated parts.

What they did
A self-taught creator set up Manus alongside Gemini 2.5 Pro Deep Research and a workflow they called “fractal iteration.” They organized the work with layered decomposition, style rules, planning outlines, and .md/PDF modules, then used the system to generate pieces of larger texts while they oversaw the method and kept detailed records. They applied it to projects that needed many connected sections, including a nonfiction book, an AI ethics project, and a story collection.
How it went
They say the process helped them produce a nonfiction book over 300 pages long, finish half of its opening chapter, and write 100 short stories with a total of more than 225,000 words. They also reported that later-written sections still held the same tone and voice, and that a 255-page AI ethics project was put together after generation. In comments, they said the method is best for keeping long output consistent, not for masking AI involvement.
Tips
Break the job into explicit layers and review each one before moving on. Keep your own notes so you can check continuity across chapters, and pause before any final publishing or submission step.

Try it yourself with Manus

Help me create a long-form [book/report/story collection/article] about [topic]. Start by proposing a high-level outline, then split it into smaller sections and wait for my approval before drafting each one. For every approved section, write in this style guide: [paste style guide]. Use these materials as reference: [paste source files, .md/PDF modules, and notes]. After each section, give me a brief recap and flag anything uncertain, then stop before any irreversible action such as sending, submitting, publishing, or deleting. Before you merge sections into one complete draft, ask me to approve the combined version first.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
