Compare hotels and download tax forms in Chrome

A tester used Gemini in Chrome to compare Lisbon hotel options and save payroll tax PDFs from logged-in portals.

Done with Gemini· Intermediate

What they did
They gave Gemini a Chrome Auto Browse task to find Lisbon stays for October under $220 a night across three one-week date ranges. It opened tabs on Booking, Hotels.com, Expedia, and Hyatt, then tracked the options in the side panel while it compared them. The same setup was also used with signed-in Gusto and ADP accounts to fetch W-2 and 1099 files; when Gusto asked for two-factor verification, control went back to the user and then continued.
How it went
The hotel search finished in about six minutes and surfaced three candidates, but it did not make a reservation. It also downloaded four tax documents. A grocery checkout test reached an 18-item cart, included two items from the wrong brand, and paused for approval before payment.
Tips
This works best when the agent can stay inside already-open, logged-in sessions. Keep it paused before anything that would place an order, submit a form, or make a payment.

Try it yourself with Gemini

In Chrome, help me research [number] hotel options in [city] for [date range] with a budget of [price] per night. Check [site 1], [site 2], and [site 3], and compare price, location, rating, and cancellation rules. Then, if I tell you to, sign into [portal name] and download my [form type] for [year], listing each file you saved. If any login, verification, purchase, or submission is needed, stop and ask me before continuing.
