Build a capture-to-reminder app in Replit

Using Replit’s agent, a first-time mobile builder shipped Loopi, which converts images, typed input, and speech into reminders, notes, and expense records.

What they did
They put Loopi together with Replit and its AI agent tools, despite having no previous experience making mobile apps. The app accepts a photo, pasted text, or spoken input, then sorts that content into reminders, notes, or expense items. Because earlier agent suggestions could be too aggressive or destabilize the app, they checked the results themselves and chose when to keep changes.
How it went
The app reached the App Store in roughly 45 days. According to the builder, the biggest delays came from submission work, in-app purchases, review, and last-mile changes around launch rather than from writing the code.
Tips
They tested it for more than a month in TestFlight with a small group and through their own daily use. If you use an agent this way, expect to supervise closely and approve anything involving payments or release steps.

Try it yourself with Replit Agent

Help me create [app name], a mobile app that accepts [photo input], [pasted text], or [spoken input] and turns them into [reminders], [notes], and [expense records]. Start with a simple plan for the first version, including the main screens and user actions, then stop and wait for my approval before you write code. After each major step, tell me what you want to change next and pause for confirmation. Before you add billing, connect outside services, delete anything, submit for review, or publish, ask me to approve it first. Success means I can [test result, e.g. create one item from each input type and find it filed correctly].

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
