Audit your mail DNS and add DMARC

An agent reviewed a domain’s email DNS, spotted a missing DMARC record, and a single TXT update raised the score from 80 to 96.

Done with Custom agent· Beginner· Oct 2026

What they did
OpenKrill used a custom agent on openkrill.app with Domain Mail Check. The tool examined 10 checks and reported that DMARC was not present. The team then published a TXT entry with p=none and a reporting mailbox, then checked the domain again.
How it went
The score improved from 80, labeled “almost,” to 96, labeled “ready.” The checker now uses 12 rules. It still notes the p=none policy as weak and says the DKIM selector is unknown.
Tips
A ready verdict only reflects what public DNS shows. It does not measure sender reputation, bounce behavior, or the quality of the mailing list.

Try it yourself with Claude Code

Review the mail-related DNS for [domain]. Inspect its SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and MX setup, then point out anything absent or too weak. If DMARC is missing, draft the exact TXT value I should publish, using a conservative starting policy and a report address, and tell me where to add it. Before any irreversible action such as sending, deleting, submitting, or changing DNS, stop and ask for my approval. After I apply the change, run the check again and compare the result.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
