Add unfamiliar English words to Notion automatically

OpenClaw records new vocabulary in Notion and prepares study details each time the writer sends over an unfamiliar word.

What they did
The writer connected OpenClaw to Notion with its built-in skill and a Connection, which lets a free Notion account work for this use. When they come across an English word they do not know, they send it to OpenClaw. The agent creates a new item in the vocabulary list and completes fields for phonetics, word class, meaning, a root-based memory aid, and a mnemonic approach. A scheduled daily task also pulls five words for review.
How it went
They treat it as part of their normal study workflow and say it keeps fresh words coming into their practice routine. After switching to this setup, they dropped their paid Notion plan.
Tips
Set up the Notion Connection before you rely on the workflow. If your database already contains the word, have the agent check first so it does not create duplicates.

Try it yourself with OpenClaw

Each time I send you an English word, look for it in my Notion database [database name]. If it is not there, create a new record with phonetics, part of speech, a simple definition, a root-based mnemonic, and a short mnemonic method. If the word is already present, tell me and leave the database unchanged. Before any action that would overwrite, remove, send, or otherwise make a permanent change, stop and ask me to approve it. After you finish, send a brief confirmation of what was added.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
